Samsung S8500 with Bluetooth 3.0
Samsung looks to register new bluetooth for mobile phones at the FCC. The phone is claimed is Samsung GT-S8500 with bluetooth 3.0, it is also the first mobile phone manufacturer in the world to mass produce phones with Bluetooth 3.0. Unfortunately there are no photos from the phone until now. Also rumored to be using the Samsung S8500 are 3.1-inch AMOLED display touchscreen, quad band, EDGE, wifi, 1000mAh battery, GPS, and a microSD slot.
Bluetooth 3.0 is the latest Bluetooth technology capable of data transfer speeds up to 24Mbps or 8 times that of its predecessor version 2.0 (3 Mbps). Prediction on the internet says the latest Samsung GT-S8500 will be introduced at MWC in Barcelona on February 15-18 next.
